Arenas

DRFG Arena

The DRFG Arena is the largest multifunctional arena in Brno. It was opened in 1982, the original arena, Hala Rondo, underwent extensive modernization during which were added all the important features of the latest multifunctional arenas and has become an excellent base for visitors. Currently, the DRFG Arena has a capacity of 7,700 spectators. Concerts, various sport competitions, dance and ballet performances, and other events are held here apart from the hockey matches. The Arena has twelve SKY Boxes, fours VIP balconies, and VIP restaurants. A modern restaurant, Kometa Pub Arena, with an overall capacity of 200 seats is also part of the arena. The DRFG Arena is excellently located geographically. It lies near both the train and bus station, which are about a 10-minute walk away from the arena building. The city centre is a 15-minute walk away from the arena and just next to the building there is a public transport stop. Spectators coming to the arena by car can take advantage of the free parking area which is about 5 minutes away from the arena. Near to the building there is also the Galerie Vankovka shopping centre which is a 15-minute walk away.

Sportcentrum Luzanky

Sportcentrum Luzanky consists of two hockey arenas which are mainly used for training purposes. There are two ice rinks in the area, one of international size and one of NHL size. The arena is located in the city part of Brno called Kralovo Pole and it has a capacity of 500 spectators. The sport centre is home to the second division hockey players of VSK Technika Brno. It is also used by HC Kometa Brno – the youth category of the club play their matches here.

MEO Arena

The Ice Hockey Stadium in Prerov was officially opened in 1971. The first reconstruction was carried out in 1999 when the ice ring and engine room was reconstructed. Significant renovations were performed in 2009 when it became a representative hockey arena with a capacity of 3,000 spectators. The stadium in Prerov is home to the HC ZUBR Prerov club which, since 2015, has taken part in the second-biggest competition - the WSM League. Hockey is very popular in Prerov and the matches of the local team are regularly attended by 2,400 spectators.
