Swedes win tournament! 4-3 win over Finland clinches 1st
A 4-3 win over arch-rival Finland means that Sweden finishes first in the Five Nations Tournament. They were led by a hat-trick by defenceman Adam Bokvist, who now leads the tournament with seven points. Filip Hallander, Samuel Fagemo and Rasmus Sundin had two point each for Sweden, while Lenni Killinen, Eetu Maki and Juuso Ketola did likewise for Finland. Read more »
Swedish D-man Bokvist tops tournament scoring with 7 points
By recording a hat-trick in his team´s last game of the tournament, Swedish defenceman Adam Bokvist finished with five goals and two assists in four games. His seven points led all players in the tournament, as Sweden won its second major U17 tournament of the season. Late comeback vs Russia brings Czechs bronze
Russia led 1-0 with three minutes to play, but goals by Adam Gajarsky and Zack Malik just 25 seconds apart leap-frogged the Czechs into the lead, and into a third-place finish in the tournament. Read more »
